Hello, World!
Hello, World!
Hi! My name is Vivian and I'm very passionate about the modern digital landscape.
My life’s always revolved around tech. Growing up in Silicon Valley with both parents as computer engineers, my environment exposed me to innovative technologies as a young girl which makes me adaptable and comfortable around new tech. I’ve been able to develop healthy tech appetite, etiquette, and an obsessive interest in keeping up-to-date with the latest ethical tech initiatives that impact my life. I feel extremely lucky to return to Silicon Valley with a wider, refreshed perspective after leading a student-athlete lifestyle while studying Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and Washington University in St Louis in Missouri.
I am constantly looking for ways I can positively impact the communities that have shaped me. I love rolling up my sleeves to build a tech product, especially around how it will affect people and communities from macro to micro scale. What I find most rewarding is moving as a team in a data-driven user-centric approach, whether it’s qualitative with UX interviews or quantitative with analytics.
I take special interest in double bottom line companies and enjoy being a resource and support system, especially to younger upcoming generations of female hacktivists.
When I’m not facing a computer screen, I’m usually recharging by escaping in a book, swimming in the ocean, or enjoying a cold beer with good company.
